    About Eric-Diversity of Talent

    Eric Fairlie is a multi-talented performer and entrepreneur based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He has worked primarily as a talent agent and entertainment consultant through live entertainment booking & event production agency, Quicksilver Entertainment. Almost daily, new and fascinating experiences occur providing Eric with many unique stories and pieces of advice to share.

     

    Professional Experience & Qualifications

    Holding a Small Business & Entrepreneurship degree, he wields his knowledge of business and marketing to help performing artists. He represents primarily illusionists, magicians, mentalists, mimes, jugglers,  and disc jockeys. He assists his clients by connecting them with entertainers that fit their needs. In turn, he assists performers by finding work for them and advising them in their business and branding.

     

     

    Past Performances

    Eric makes himself available to perform when possible. However, his business agent duties to other performers consumes most of his time.  When performing in 2010 he can be found most often as a DJ or MC at weddings. So far this year he has had the pleasure of performing for the Honourable Prime Minister of Canada, Stephen Harper and his family. Other clients include:

    He strongly believes in the need for integrity, ethics, and community involvement in all aspects of life; awards decorate and serve as proof of his convictions. Some include:

    • Creator of the 2009 H1N1 Performer Outreach Campaign. Helped offer free entertainment at H1N1 Vaccine Clinics in Calgary, Alberta.
       
    • 2007 Bissett School of Business New Venture Business Plan Finalist for identifying revolutionary opportunity in the Renovation, Demolition and Waste Management Services industries.
